Week One Goals, Anyone?

"The ability to convert ideas to things is the secret to outward success."

-Henry Ward Beecher

Did anybody come up with a goal for week one?

Well IIIIII didddd!

My goal for this week is to straighten up my eating habits! I've been eating pure junk for the past 2 months. I ate more fast food in the past two months than I have in the past 2 years. Seriously. This has got to stop!

So this week, my main focus is on cleaning up my eating. I'm not expecting perfection, but I need to get myself back into the habit of eating clean wholesome foods.

Goal 2 for this week is getting back into the gym, DUH! Also something that hasn't been happening over the past 2 months. If you didn't see my facebook post yesterday, I walked into the gym in the morning and didn't even get past the front desk when a trainer from clear across the gym waved for me to come over and says "Where the hell have you been? I haven't seen you here in 2 months."

Total moment of shame for me, but I shook it off and said "I'M BACK!"

Oh, and I have a 3rd goal, and that is to become the MAYOR of Gold's Gym within 2 weeks. Yeah that's right. The M-effing MAYOR..... If you don't know what foursquare is, check it out.

POST and share your goals for the week!

    1) Get to the gym AT LEAST four times this week. One down three to go!!!

    2) Stop eating the DAMN chocolate chip cookies that are baked daily at work....this is going to be a tough one! Really two cookies for less than a dollar...UGH

  2. Jenn, I really hope you get goal #3! Lol, you can walk around the gym shaking hands, kissing babies, and then start damanding people to 'drop down and give you 20!'

Kathleen, My office used to bake cookies daily for free... it was horrible! Stay away from them! You will save calories AND money!

  3. My Weekly Goals are:

    1) Complete my Vision Board. I have it half way done. I cut pics and phrases from my stack of Oxygen Magazine and put them on my tack-board to hang in my room. This way, I am reminded daily of my goals.

    2) Clean Eating organization. I have cooked my meals in advance for 2-3 days. I go to school at night and work full-time days, so I have to prepare on a regular basis. Getting rid of the junk and introducing healthier options. I also do separate grocery shopping and cooking from my roommates who are two guys that eat anything and everything.

3)Work-Out Program Design. Want to work out 5-6 days per week. I have started buying basic home gym equipment from a used sports-goods store. So far I have bands, 10lb weights, jump rope and push-up handles. Also have a friend meeting me at a local park for running. I was able to keep my gym membership for this month too.

  4. Vision board, I love it! I made one in January with weight loss on it so I am glad I joined this challenge. So.....goals:)

    1. Portion control. Sorry, but I do not have the self-control like other (I like to eat). So I'm taking baby steps by portioning and trying to stick to 1 serving of everything I eat.

    2. STOP making excuses when it comes to working out. If I can find time for facebook I can find time to workout--simple.

Looking forward to what these 8 weeks bring!
