First Post!!!

Woohooo!!! So if you haven't already, it's time to get started on our 8 week challenge! I'll be sending out an email with the password to this blog so that everyone can post. I hope that everyone will take advantage of this blog as a way to communicate with each other about your progress, as well as sharing tips and tricks and other motivating words.

The next 8 weeks are going to be an absolute BLAST as not only does this challenge present a competitive motivator, but the opportunity to learn a little bit about each other.

  1. I'm so glad we are doing this challenge. I needed something to get me back on the right track....the past few days have been extremely difficult for me.

I will be the first to share...last Thursday I received the news that one of my friends was diagnosis with Lymphoma and it was untreatable. Sadly she pasted away this weekend and the wake is tonight. So basically what I'm trying to say is....thanks for starting this challenge I really need this!!!

  2. Kathleen, sorry to hear about your loss. I'm glad to hear that your using this negative experience as a positive motivator for yourself by joining the Challenge. Although change can be hard to embrace at first, every step you make to improve yourself during the next 8 weeks will help create a healthier life for yourself in the long run. Glad you stepped up to join us! :)

  3. My long term personal goal is to do a figure competition. I always try to start and I never finish for some reason or another. I'm a part time personal trainer who puts energy into everything else but myself. I'm hoping this challenge will be a motivator for me to continue on. Also, I have some financial obligations that keep me from having a gym membership and joining CSF, so if I win this, the money will be put towards that. :)

What is everyone else choosing to do the most awesome challenge?

  4. Aw Kathleen that's horrible! You both are right. I think this challenge is just what a lot of us need to get back in the swing of things.

I'm choosing to do it because I think that the competitive aspect of it will help me to just that. Once I get back into the routine, I can keep myself self motivated, but I just need that initial fire under my butt!

Also I had to change the password for this blog. Email me if you want it so you guys can post here as well.

  7. I'm doing the challenge because I want to compete in my first show (bikini) later this year. I tend to need a push to get my ass off the couch and this challenge has done that.
